This was in response to the theme of collaboration, with the constraints of being less than four minutes and shot entirely on devices such as phones or tablets.

We describe how multiple viewpoints create a single dwelling or home over time, captured in a single moment of choosing to include cameras.

Some voices are more connected to others, some are quieter, some are exhibitionist, (and some just happen to be naked, tired, and hungry). It was shot on three devices simultaneously, spontaneously, without warning and only rapid explanations of artistic intentions: “show people our house from as many vantages as possible, in this moment”. The influence of documentary cinema, reality television, and as-if intimate online video posting is presented or mimicked in some of our choices.

The video was then heavily edited to convey the most interesting parts. The result is an honest, sarcastic, joyful, look at this one collective house, this one time. At that time, it had been a collective house at this time for 8 years, with membership as changed from the beginning as the pieces of Theseus’ perplexing ship.
